Hey there, fellow business owners and entrepreneurs… it's January, aka National Get Organized Month. This blog is called the Organized Nomad, so there’s no way I can’t write about this. Let’s get into why getting yourself and your business organized is the key to crushing it this year. Not reading this in January? Remember there's no better time to start than NOW. I've been in the admin game for almost two decades, so I can confidently tell you: a well-organized business is like a well-oiled machine.

Why Being Organized is So Important
Modern home office with wooden desk, computer, plants, and black lamps. Art prints and books on white shelves create a calm ambiance.

Let's really talk for a moment about why being organized is more than just having a cute color-coded planner (though I hold space in my heart for those too):

When your business is organized, your team can focus on the important stuff instead of drowning in chaos. No more wasting time hunting for that one email or file – everything's where it should be. If you don’t have a team and it’s just you, this still applies.

  • If you are your own bookkeeper, having your finances in check will be a breeze. Cash flow, bills, and invoices all easily accessible and understood. No more surprise expenses or “where did all the money go?” moments.

  • Customers and clients stay happy. You can answer questions and zip through orders quickly. Six months from now a client will reach out looking for a deliverable they can no longer find (trust me on this), and you’ll look amazing when you can send it to them immediately.

  • You have room to grow. Ready to scale? Excellent. If you’re not bogged down in disorganization, you can now focus on the big picture of launching new products, bringing on new team members or freelancers, or whatever other opportunities come your way.

My No-Nonsense Approach to Getting You Organized

I'm not here to push some one-size-fits-all solution or fancy software you don't need. A fellow systems strategist recently called me “software agnostic”. And that’s so fitting because my style is all about:

  • Tailor-Made Flexibility: Whether you're just starting out or running an entire empire, I'll set up a plan that fits you like a glove. We’ll use whatever tools and systems work best for you. Can’t fathom Notion? No problem. Loyal to Honeybook? I’ve got you. Running your whole business from one Excel spreadsheet? Ok, please don’t do that–I have options for you.

  • Big Picture Thinking: I look at your whole business, making sure every part of your workflow is in harmony. Consider it a holistic approach, if you will.

  • Accessibility: My suggestions and recommendations are always down-to-earth and doable. The best organizational hacks are the ones you will actually implement. And I’ll be there to help you keep things running smoothly.

Picture a workspace where everything flows smoothly, and you're not constantly putting out fires. Sounds peaceful, right? That's what good organization does for you. It creates peace for your workflow and your entire business.

Ready for that peace and a smoother, more successful business? With the organized way I run my workflow consulting, you can book a 1- 2- or 4-month package TODAY and reserve space on my calendar. Or hit me up for a 60-minute Strategy Call where we'll chat about your biggest organizational headaches and how we can fix them.

With a little organization magic, you'll be:

- Crushing your to-do list like never before

- Making decisions faster

- Watching your team work together like a dream

- Growing your business without breaking a sweat

Right then, that's my spiel! Remember, an organized business is a happy business. Let's make some magic happen this year!
